Terms of Service

1. Service description

Sitey provides done-for-you website building and hosting services for South African businesses. We build your site using your content and our templates, host it on Cloudflare Pages, and manage it on an ongoing subscription basis.

2. Payment terms

A one-off setup fee is charged upon order confirmation. Monthly subscription fees are charged in advance on your billing date. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT if applicable. Payments are processed by Paystack.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your site remains live for 30 days after cancellation. After 30 days, your site is archived. You may reactivate within 90 days at no extra cost. After 90 days, all data is deleted.

4. Refunds

Setup fees are non-refundable once we have commenced building your site (typically within 24 hours of payment). If we have not started building, a full refund is available within 7 days of payment. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you provide (text, images, logos). You grant Sitey a licence to use your content to build and display your website. You warrant that you have the rights to all content you provide.

6. Our obligations

We will build your site within 48 hours of receiving payment and complete content. We will maintain 99.9% uptime for hosted sites. We will respond to change requests within the timeframes specified for your plan.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-business damages.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by South African law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
